Account Executive DACH

Job description
Manufacturers who win don't sell standard products. They win because they offer customer-specific solutions. But scaling those solutions is where most companies get stuck. Excel breaks down, consultants take over, and every change becomes slow and expensive. Elfsquad fixes that.
Our software puts your team back in control, without losing what makes you unique. As an Account Executive at Elfsquad, you own the full sales cycle for manufacturers in the DACH region. Elfsquad is built on years of manufacturing industry experience, we know why configuration errors are costly, why quality matters, and why customers don't hand off their product logic to just anyone. Not a lead hand-off, not a single call in a longer process, the whole path from first conversation to signed contract. You get to know a prospect's business, dig into how they actually sell and configure today, and give them an honest read on fit before you ever ask for the deal. Once that trust is built, you negotiate and close, then hand off clean to our Customer Solution Managers.
You join Elfsquad's Commercial team, working alongside fellow Account Executives covering DACH and other regions. Working directly with the Chief Commercial Officer, spanning Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, so a deal you close isn't the end of the relationship, it's the start of one CS actively grows. Elfsquad scales through a tight, repeatable sales process, not individual heroics: consistent qualification, honest forecasting, and a pipeline anyone on the team could pick up and understand.
Your role
- Own the sales cycle end to end. From first discovery call, through product demos and negotiation, to a signed contract.
- Work from a clear defined ICP, so you spend your time on prospects who are genuinely a fit, not a broad, undefined market.
- Run the introduction: get to know the prospect, understand their challenges, ambitions and current situation, and help them understand what Elfsquad does and how it works.
- Lead the deep dive: understand how they sell and configure today, run sessions with key stakeholders, and define scope, requirements and strategy together.
- Give an honest fit assessment from both sides. Not every prospect is a fit, and you say so when that's true.
- Manage your pipeline with discipline. Qualify honestly, forecast accurately, and know where every deal stands.
- Negotiate and close contracts with new customers, balancing what's right for the customer with what's sustainable for Elfsquad.
- Meet or exceed your quarterly revenue targets.
- Hand off closed accounts to Customer Solution Managers with a complete, accurate picture, so training, configurator set-up and implementation start without friction.
You
- Are organized and keep your own pipeline and stakeholders on track without needing reminders.
- Communicate directly and honestly. You translate between technical configuration logic and commercial value without oversimplifying either.
- Have 3–5 years of hands-on experience inside the manufacturing industry. You’ve seen from the inside how products are sold, configured and built.
- Have a proven track record carrying and closing a B2B sales cycle in CPQ, ERP, or another complex-sale environment serving manufacturers.
- Are commercially sharp but customer-first. You want the deal, and you want the customer to actually succeed with what they buy.
- Are fluent in English and German native, verbal and written.
- Are willing to travel for on-site visits in the DACH region.
What We Offer

- Hybrid set-up - HQ are in The Netherlands, with additional offices in Poland, and Germany.
- Work from home - possibility to work from home.
- Quarterly meetings - every quarter we get together for alignment, collaboration, and team building, each time in a different city.
About Elfsquad
We help manufacturers get back in control, letting them scale profitably without losing what makes them unique using our CPQ software. We do this as one team, split across The Netherlands, Poland, and Germany. Different backgrounds, same mission. Different skill sets, same vision. We solve problems together, challenge each other openly, and once we decide, we move as one squad. This is possible thanks to our core values:
What you see is what you get
We say things as they are. No fluff, no inflated promises, no Silicon Valley theatrics. We grow in a way that makes sense, with clear communication and honest expectations.
For the Makers
We exist because of our customers, the manufacturers who build complex, configurable products. Their challenges drive our product. We build software that handles their reality.
Ambitious in vision, driven in action
We choose our own course as a company. We dream big but build responsibly. Our ambition is not to grow like a hyped-up startup - but to become the best by staying true to who we are: independent,
inventive, and rooted.
Winning as one team
We win together, not alone. Our ambition is big; but our success depends on collaboration, trust, and
lifting each other up. No egos: one squad.
