About the job

Van Caem Klerks Group is an international trading company operating within the global market. We are a service-oriented company with over 50 years of experience in the import and export industry. Our head office is in the heart of Amsterdam, with an international office in Curacao. We are currently expanding our business and are therefore looking for an International Trader to join our team.

Therefore it is essential that you are a keen business-relationship builder. You will analyze requests from different suppliers, and you will be responsible for sales negotiations. You will manage the financial and account information of suppliers and customers. Furthermore, you also manage the purchase and sales orders in collaboration with the colleagues from Trade support. This role also involves frequent travel to meet with clients and attend trade fairs.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships.
Proficiency in working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Willingness to travel internationally for up to 25% of your working hours.
Possession of a valid "B" category driver’s license.
Residing in the Netherlands, preferably in the Amsterdam area.

What do we offer?

We offer an exciting, challenging job in a young and international environment located in an amazing office in Amsterdam. Furthermore, our in-house chef prepares complimentary lunch daily. The position consists of a training period; afterwards you will be responsible for developing further contacts and business expansion.
