Project Coordinator
Location: Oldenzaal | Employment: 32–40 hours per week
Salary: €3,000–€4,000 gross per month on a full-time basis, excluding holiday allowance
About this role.
Do you enjoy creating structure, keeping an overview and making sure others can get on with their work? As Project Coordinator at iAUTOMATION, you will support project managers and engineers during the preparation, execution and completion of technical projects. You will make sure that agreements, documents and schedules do not get overlooked.
We deliver industrial automation and OT projects to customers in pharmaceuticals, energy, chemicals, and food and beverage. These projects bring together engineers, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. Clear coordination of information and action points makes a real difference.
You will help keep schedules up to date, prepare meetings and track actions. You will also collect and manage documentation, support progress reports and identify missing information or deadlines at risk. You will communicate frequently with colleagues and make sure everyone knows what is expected of them.
You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be interested in understanding our projects. Your accuracy, communication skills and initiative will help the technical team deliver projects in a controlled and professional way.
What will you do?
Your responsibilities will include
- Project planning and progress tracking: Maintain a clear overview of actions, agreements and milestones, and follow up with those responsible.
- Project documentation: Collect, prepare and maintain documents, drawings, version information and other project records.
- Meetings and action management: Arrange meetings, agendas, minutes and action lists to keep follow-up organized.
- Stakeholder coordination: Ensure project teams, customers and external parties receive relevant information on time.
- Reporting and presentations: Collect and process project data to help managers communicate progress and identify deviations.
- Early identification of bottlenecks: Check whether required input is available and flag potential delays.
- Project close-out and handover: Help verify that deliverables, documentation and outstanding actions are complete.
The level of independence expected will depend on your experience, the project and the customer environment.
What does the role offer?
- A gross monthly salary of €3,000–€4,000, depending on your knowledge and experience, on a full-time basis and excluding holiday allowance.
- 25 vacation days and 13 additional ADV days each year for full-time employees (38 days off in total).
- 8% holiday allowance, paid in June.
- Pension accrual through Pensioenfonds Metaal en Techniek (PMT), subject to the pension scheme’s participation requirements.
- Employment conditions under the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement for Metal and Technology – Technical Installation Companies (CAO Metaal en Techniek – Technisch Installatiebedrijf).
- Flexible working hours between 08:00 and 18:00, where operational needs and customer commitments allow.
- A commuting allowance of €0.25 per kilometre for travel by private vehicle, up to a maximum commuting distance of 60 kilometres one way, in accordance with company policy.
- Compensation for overtime and additional business travel time in accordance with the applicable arrangements.
- Opportunities for education, training and certifications in line with your role and development.
- Varied work in industrial environments, direct communication and supportive colleagues.
- Annual team activities and a company Christmas dinner.
- A central coordination role across varied projects, with room to develop your project management skills.
Full-time employment means 38 paid contractual hours per week, with a 40-hour working week and ADV time accrued. For part-time employees, salary and leave are calculated pro rata.
What knowledge and experience do we ask for?
- MBO level 4 or HBO working and thinking level, for example in Business Administration, Project Management or Industrial Engineering and Management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams and Planner.
- An organized and accurate way of working.
- The ability to keep track of several activities at the same time.
- An interest in technology and willingness to learn about our projects.
- Good Dutch and English; German is an advantage.
You will work closely with technically skilled colleagues, but an engineering qualification is not a requirement for this role.
