Job description

As a Business Analyst, you will be crucial to turning strategic portfolio challenges into tangible business opportunities for Wholesale & Rural Innovation, focusing on digital assets led corporate and institutional banking propositions.

You will originate and develop innovative business models and propositions that strengthen the resilience of Rabobank's Wholesale & Rural portfolio. Your responsibilities include:

• Originate and validate digital assets propositions within a Wholesale banking context.
• Translate client needs and external developments into scalable solutions and business models.
• Create networks and collaborations across internal and external stakeholders with potentially contrasting needs.
• Develop and implement propositions that support the digital assets vision for Wholesale & Rural.
• Build business cases and foster relationships with clients, business partners and product teams to drive validation and go-to-market.
• Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, processes, options and decision points.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in banking or financial services.
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, strategy, innovation or business development.
• Demonstrable experience in portfolio optimization in a large wholesale banking organization (>2000 FTE) e.g. on risk density, income/assets, Risk Weighted Asset reduction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to build fact-based business cases.
• Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, with strong stakeholder-management skills in a complex environment.
• Experience with digital assets, structured finance or transaction banking is a strong plus.

Application

Interview

After the interview, the client may wish to conduct a second or, in some cases, a third interview. If the client decides to hire you, the start date and onboarding process will be determined.

Start / Onboarding

In order to get started, an onboarding procedure is initiated in which formalities are completed. This includes submitting personal details, passport and, if necessary, Chamber of Commerce registration in order to draw up a contract. In some cases, screening by an external agency commissioned by the client may be required. Once this has been completed, the assignment can begin!
