About this opportunity

As an NPI (New Product Introduction) Technician you assemble and test complex high-tech mechatronic systems and subassemblies. You work on small series inside a cleanroom, for global OEMs in the semiconductor, medical and analytical industries. At the moment the team is building the new Rema EXE for ASML.

You mainly work on the more difficult products and on new products that start as an engineering project. In this early phase not all work instructions are available yet and development often continues during production. That asks for strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking. Once the customer approves the product, it moves to the production line for higher volumes, and you move on to the next new product.

You work in a project team of 3 to 7 people, in day shift.

Your daily responsibilities

  • Assembling and testing complex mechatronic systems and subassemblies in a cleanroom
  • Building first products and small series of newly developed systems
  • Solving technical issues when work instructions are not yet complete
  • Working closely with engineering during the introduction of new products
  • Ensuring effective and high-quality assembly of new products
  • Contributing to the transfer of approved products to series production

What you bring

  • A completed technical education, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace or similar (EQF level 4, 5 or 6)
  • Experience reading technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a logical way of thinking
  • You enjoy working in a cleanroom
  • You are a communicative team player
  • A passion for technology and challenging technical projects
  • You stay calm when working under time pressure

What you can expect

  • Salary between €3,300 and €3,900 gross per month, depending on education and experience
  • Day shift, no shifts
  • 25 holiday days and 13 extra paid ADV days per year
  • 8.33% holiday allowance
  • Travel allowance
  • A growing international environment with short communication lines and an informal atmosphere
