Some technicians work on one machine for a year. As a Service Technician, you work on many of them—at the customer’s site, where the problem actually is. You install, commission, and service machines and technical installations for one of our client companies in the Dutch high-tech, machine building, or manufacturing sector.

Travelling throughout the Netherlands and occasionally abroad, you’ll combine technical expertise with customer interaction. It’s a hands-on role where your knowledge and service-minded attitude make a real difference.

About

the role

As a Service Technician, you are the primary point of contact on-site. You bring machines into operation, keep them running, and explain your work to customers. Although you work independently, you’ll always have the support of your service coordinator, engineering team, and fellow field technicians.

• Install and commission machinery.
• Perform service and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues.
• Carry out upgrades and retrofits.
• Train and support customers.
• Report service activities and findings.

What are we

looking for

We are looking for technically skilled professionals who enjoy working independently and interacting with customers. You have a broad technical background and a service-oriented mindset, with the drive to solve problems both on-site and remotely.

• EQF level 3 or 4 technical education.
• Broad mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Independent working style.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Good command of English.
• Valid category B driving licence.
• Willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally.
