Job Description: Full-time 6-months Internship

Sales & Pricing Consulting mainly for Private Equity held portfolio companies

We are a boutique consulting company focused on Sales & Pricing improvements for Private Equity Portfolio companies. Our core focus lies in sales & pricing. We do this through traditional 3-4 months Consulting projects but also with 6-12+ months AI & automation support engagements..

We operate on the C-level to set strategic direction and on the ground level to get things done.

We have a de-centralized organization and work the majority of our time remote, but meet 1-2 days per week at a client site or at another location to work together in person as a team as well. We are looking for someone to strengthen our team for 6 months as an intern.

We cover a broad range of strategic management services, focusing on Gross Profit improvements through topics such as Sales process optimization, Value-Based Pricing, AI sales Process optimization, etc. For more information about our Services, please visit our homepage under www.impulssum.com. You will have direct exposure to leading PEs and help them drive value-creation projects for their portfolio. Our aim is to structure and build value adds for our clients, not to create hundreds of slides. We focus on the mid-market, where pragmatic delivery is critical.

In this particular role, we are looking for someone who is interested in becoming a well-balanced consultant after their studies and wants to increase their experience by working alongside us on our projects. Someone who likes to interact with clients, knows how to work with data, takes responsibilities seriously, and has an entrepreneurial mindset to help grow Impulssum together.

Typical duties include

• Support one or several consulting projects at the same time
• Ambition to own the analysis and drive insights generation during the internship
• Break down and structure the customer problem
• Create conclusions and support on presenting back to the client
• Contribute to the broader business through business development, knowledge sharing, coaching and other activities
• Help in our own Sales & Marketing proposition
• Defining and working out new propositions to expand impulssum’s offering

We try to work 1-2 days per week together. We also spend some time on-site with the client for important meetings.

Skills & Experience

• Strong technical skills in MS PowerPoint & Excel
• Motivation and drive to keep developing and gaining new knowledge/skills
• Good people and client management skills, including an understanding of how to communicate with clients of different backgrounds and opinions
• Interest in commercial topics (not necessarily experience)
• Professional level of English. Dutch & German are a plus
