Identity & Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst

We deliver Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities to our clients. This work may be focused on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM) or authentication and authorization – or a combination of all three.

We are looking for an experienced IAM Business Analyst to support our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to establish IAM business requirements
  • Develop clear and actionable functional designs which satisfy those requirements
  • Support the business in documenting solutions and processes – for example, application roles and permissions, authorisation matrices or privilege approvals processes.
  • Define data flows in collaboration with application owners.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, application owners and technical IAM/IGA/PAM teams.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Professional experience as a Business Analyst and/or Information Analyst.
  • Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience working on Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity & Access Management (IAM) or Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) projects.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience integrating applications with a PAM, IAM or IGA platform.
  • Professional certifications with one or more modern IAM products (for example, Idira, SailPoint, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra, Saviynt).
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Experience in analysing identity data – for example within enterprise directories or IGA tooling.
  • Experience working on projects within organisations with 1,000+ employees.

Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Able to challenge and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
  • Able to translate complex IAM concepts into clear business requirements.
  • Experience operating in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
