Profile Chemical EOR Specialist

We are looking to connect with an experienced Chemical EOR Specialist for a potential consulting opportunity in the upstream oil & gas sector.

The opportunity is suited to a senior professional with extensive experience in chemical enhanced oil recovery, from laboratory studies and reservoir evaluation through to simulation, pilot design and field implementation.

Responsibilities

• Chemical flooding technologies, including polymer, surfactant and ASP (alkaline-surfactant-polymer) flooding.
• Reservoir engineering, fluid behaviour, wettability and chemical retention.
• Design and interpretation of core-flooding experiments, chemical screening and formulation.
• Chemical EOR simulation, history matching, forecasting and optimisation.
• EOR pilot projects, injection strategies, field surveillance and production optimisation.
• Technical and economic evaluation of EOR opportunities, including risk and uncertainty assessment.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in the upstream oil & gas industry.
• Strong technical expertise in chemical EOR technologies and their application to complex reservoirs.
• Experience bridging laboratory research, reservoir modelling and practical field implementation.
