Introduction

Are you a mechanical design engineer who loves designing machines and their components? Do you enjoy working in mechanical engineering and finding solutions where others do not? Then maybe we are looking for you! One of our clients, an engineering company that works on a project basis, is looking for a mechanical design engineer.

What are you going to do as Mechanical design engineer?

• Preparation of mechanical engineering drawings of machines and components;
• Calculation of forces for structures and machines;
• Translating customer requirement into functional design;
• Select and manage mechanical components (library);
• Work according to safety standards and machine guidelines;
• Collaborate with your internal team as well as the customer;

What are you bringing in?

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks;
• Knowledge of mechanics, materials science, and/or thermodynamics;
• Knowledge of norms & industry standards;
• Project management skills;
• Problem solving & adaptability;
• A valid driver’s license.
