Your new role

As a Sports & Outdoor buyer, you decide which brands, products and deals are offered to customers, from established names to brands that are quickly making a name for themselves. You follow trends, brands, competitors and consumer behaviour, and build out the category with brands people actually want. You are the commercial point of contact for your suppliers, actively build a strong network, and make sure you're top of mind whenever interesting commercial opportunities arise. Your responsibility doesn't stop after purchasing: you negotiate independently on price, volume and terms, but also actively drive sales, margin, stock and returns. From the first contact with a brand or supplier to the final result, you are fully accountable for the deal.

Your profile

• Relevant commercial experience in purchasing, sales, account management or category management
• Commercial, entrepreneurial, and a feel for brands and trends
• A strong negotiator and relationship builder; you grow commercial relationships into structural business
• Analytical: you understand numbers, analyse results, and use data to make commercial decisions
• Preferably a completed Bachelor's/Master's degree, with corresponding working and thinking level
• Good speaking and writing skills in English and a general understanding of Dutch.

The employment conditions

• Solid gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €5,000, depending on your experience
• Annual bonus, depending on your results, can go up to €14,000
• Well-arranged pension, with an employer contribution of 18.6% of the pensionable salary
• An in-house company bar with Heineken on tap and a pool table
• Team outings, staff sales, themed weeks and annual parties
• A fresh, catered lunch at the office every Monday and Friday
