BMTM is seeking an experienced, dedicated Elementary Lead Teacher to guide a mixed-age classroom of students in grades 1-6. We are looking for an educator who pairs strong Montessori practice with warmth, thoughtful classroom leadership, and meaningful partnership with families.
Lead a full-day Montessori Elementary program spanning Lower and Upper Elementary (ages 6-12). The Lead Teacher creates a peaceful, academically engaging prepared environment; observes and responds to individual student needs; and supports students as they develop independence, responsibility, and confidence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Montessori Elementary teacher certification from a recognized program
- 3-5 years of classroom experience with school-aged students
- Strong classroom leadership, communication, organization, and recordkeeping skills
PREFERRED
- Montessori 6-12 certification
- Experience with both Lower and Upper Elementary
- Education or related degree
