Senior Digital Synthesis Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Digital Synthesis Engineer to join our team. This role involves working at the intersection of digital design, synthesis, and formal verification techniques to ensure high-quality chip design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing and synthesizing digital designs, performing DFT (Design for Test) activities, and ensuring that the design meets the required functional, performance, and testability specifications.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies for our highly complex SoC and image pipeline development projects.

Responsibilities
→
Perform RTL-to-Gates synthesis using industry-standard tools (e.g. Cadence Genus, Synopsys Fusion Compiler)
→
Work with design teams to create, optimize and maintain timing constraints (e.g. SDC files)
→
Optimize design for area, power, and performance by applying different synthesis constraints and optimizations
→
Resolve synthesis issues and work closely with RTL designers to ensure design readiness for implementation
→
Perform formal verification of synthesized designs to ensure correctness and reliability
→
Utilize formal tools and techniques to verify that the design logic and constraints are intact throughout synthesis
→
Continuously evaluate, optimize, and automate synthesis workflows to increase productivity and design quality
→
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members on synthesis and constraint-related topics
qualifications
→
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable
→
Minimum 5 years of experience in Synthesis and constraint development for complex hierarchical SoC designs
→
Programming skills in script languages (TCL, Perl, Python) are advantageous
→
Extensive experience in dealing with the digital design implementation environments from Cadence, Mentor Graphics and Synopsys
→
Experience in the field of functional safety and usf scripting is an advantage
→
Experience in Design for Testability (DFT) techniques, including scan insertion, boundary scan, BIST (Built-In Self-Test), LBIST (Logic BIST) and ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation) is an advantage
→
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
