About the job

At AME, we develop and manufacture high-tech products by bringing together electronics, mechanics, software, and advanced manufacturing technologies. As a Supply Chain Planner, you make sure customer demand is translated into a realistic production plan and that the different parts of the organization are aligned to deliver it.

You are the link between planning, purchasing, production, projects and Sales. You coordinate the overall plan across electronics, mechanics, injection moulding and other production steps, while keeping an overview of materials, capacity and delivery commitments. You start with the standard planning flow and gradually grow into handling more complex situations such as capacity constraints, NPI, product transitions and end-of-life planning.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain the overall production plan based on customer demand, materials and capacity
  • Coordinate planning across different manufacturing steps, including electronics, mechanics and injection moulding
  • Align with planners, operational buyers and Production Managers to ensure the plan is realistic and achievable
  • Validate and release the production plan and follow up on deviations or missing materials
  • Communicate delivery plans and relevant changes to Sales, enabling reliable customer communication
  • Take ownership of the plans you create and coordinate actions with stakeholders across the organization
  • Support NPI planning by translating new customer and project requirements into realistic production and capacity plans
  • Contribute to end-of-life planning, product transitions and inventory management
  • Use SAP, business intelligence and other data to support planning decisions and improve the planning process

Who are you?

  • You have an MBO, HBO, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Planning or a related field
  • You have initial experience in supply chain or production planning, or you are a recent graduate eager to develop in this field
  • You have experience in a production environment; experience in electronics or high-tech manufacturing is a strong advantage
  • You have experience working with SAP, Excel and Business Intelligence tools.
  • You take ownership, work independently and are comfortable making decisions in a dynamic environment
  • You are able to keep an overview, solve complex planning puzzles and stay effective under pressure
  • You communicate clearly and can align effectively with different stakeholders
  • You are driven, proactive and fluent in English

Why joining AME

  • Take ownership of the production plan for high-tech products and directly influence our ability to deliver to customers
  • Work across the full production chain, from electronics and mechanics to injection moulding
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Projects and Sales
  • Grow towards broader supply chain responsibility
  • Work in a dynamic, hands-on environment where taking responsibility and making decisions is encouraged
  • 27 holidays + 13 ADV days (11 of which are fixed) based on fulltime
  • Free lunch and dinner for all our employees
