In this role of a Project Engineer Offshore Energy, you will be working side by side with the Project Manager, and the design & engineering team. You will support them with your technical guidance, as well as keeping the project within the budget, according to planning, delivery schedule, and quality.

What you will do

• Coordinating multidisciplinary projects within the Offshore Energy sector (mainly offshore wind)• Providing support for writing specifications, contracts, and general terms & conditions • Acting as a knowledge carrier for all engineering-related matters • Making use of your commercial mindset to maintain relations with the clients • Supervising tender processes and procedures

This multidisciplinary engineering office based in the Rotterdam area is well known for delivering state-of-the-art tailor-made solutions in the field of Construction, Installations, Infrastructure, Traffic, Maritime, Water, and Offshore & Energy.

Their scope of work covers a wide range of technical activities: starting from the feasibility studies, up to the execution of engineering and procurement projects.

What you already have

• BSc. or MSc. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or similar• Good knowledge of the Offshore Wind sector and/or Renewables • Experience as Project Engineer or Project Manager in a technical environment, preferably Offshore projects • Commercial mindset, so you always thrive for the best outcome for the project • Outstanding negotiation skills• Passion for technology • Excellent communication and people skills, since you will be communicating with other internal departments and stakeholders• Ability to work in a highly complex technical environment, so expect to be positively challenged• Fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team• Available for full-time in the Rotterdam area
