Your role

As Proposal Manager, you will play a critical role in Saab's international Marketing & Sales activities. You will lead the proposal development process for complex international defence deals, ensuring high-quality submissions that meet customer requirements and position Saab competitively.

The role is focused on managing the end-to-end proposal process, coordinating inputs from technical, commercial and business teams.

You will work closely with Bid Managers, subject matter experts and stakeholders across Saab to deliver compelling proposals that showcase Saab's capabilities and value proposition.

Your responsibility spans four main areas

Proposal Development – Lead the creation and assembly of competitive proposals, ensuring completeness, quality and consistency, ensuring that all contributors understand their responsibilities and deliver their input according to plan

Cross-functional Coordination – Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, legal and financial teams to produce integrated proposals.

Quality Assurance – Ensure proposals meet customer requirements and follow Saab's standards for content, format and presentation.

Timeline Management – Manage proposal deliverables, ensuring that it is complete, compliant, professionally presented and submitted on time.

Your profile

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a complex international business environment. You enjoy bringing people together and ensuring that proposals are delivered with the highest quality and on time.

To succeed in this role, we see that you:

Have experience of managing proposals, bids or complex business documents.

Have strong collaborative and communication skills.

Are comfortable working across organisational boundaries and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Have a "doer" mindset and take ownership from idea to execution.

Are fluent in English and Swedish.

Have curiosity and openness to technological development, with an interest in AI-based tools and methods.

Aspirational mindset with potential to grow into roles as Bid Manager, Bid Center Manager or other roles in sales.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
