Job Title: Grid Simulation Engineer

Job Location: Rijswijk, Netherlands

Main Responsibilities

Customer Technical Communication & Demand Management

Serve as the technical interface for European PV & energy storage grid-connected projects, conducting professional technical communication, requirement confirmation, and technical alignment with customers, TSO/DSO consultants, and third-party certification bodies.
Respond to grid code review comments, simulation report revisions, and model rectification feedback throughout the project cycle.

EMT & RMS Grid Simulation & Modeling Work

Independently carry out simple RMS electromechanical transient simulation and EMT electromagnetic transient simulation for European PV/storage grid-connected projects.
Complete basic parameter configuration, model modification, condition setting, and result analysis of inverter, PCS, BESS, and PPC.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Economics, or a related technical field.
Experience in the PV&ESS modeling and simulation, or a closely related field.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Proficient in RMS/EMT electromechanical transient simulation tools
Able to independently complete simple grid compliance simulation
Familiar with European grid code and its mandatory items
Familiar with inverter/PCS control logic and grid adaptation characteristics.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
Travel: Willingness to travel across Europe for simulation events and customer discussions/meetings.
