Technical Project Lead
We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Project Lead to strengthen our design team at one of our design centers in Germany or the Netherlands. In this role, you will oversee and drive complex technical projects from concept through to mass production, working closely with R&D, design, production, and quality assurance teams as well as our international customers to bring innovative solutions to life. Ideally, you bring extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong background in automotive.

Responsibilities
→
Lead and manage international projects, providing technical leadership and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through to production
→
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, production, quality, etc.) and maintain regular communication with stakeholders on project status, key issues, and solutions
→
Develop detailed project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies; identify and mitigate potential risks and technical challenges
→
Ensure project execution aligns with automotive quality and safety requirements (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 26262), coordinating with quality and safety engineering as needed
→
Monitor project performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques, adjusting as needed
→
Mentor and guide junior engineers, and support the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices
qualifications
→
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field
→
Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with at least 2 years in a project leadership or technical leadership role
→
Proven track record of complex SoC projects, with knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, design, and testing methodologies
→
Experience in the automotive semiconductor sector is a plus, including working knowledge of ISO 26262 and its impact on project planning, and awareness of automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949 and AEC-Q100
→
Familiarity with project management tools and techniques (Jira, CodeBeamer, …)
→
Experience with requirements/traceability tools relevant to safety-critical development, and with EDA tools used in semiconductor design, is a plus
