About the job

As a UX Designer you will join the UX team within the Dossier Tribe. From this team, you collaborate on projects with various development teams, both within and outside the tribe. You exchange ideas with other UX designers about research, design decisions, and the connections between projects. This allows you to learn from each other’s approaches while helping shape UX practice at Nedap.

We work in a hybrid setting and meet regularly at the Nedap Campus in Groenlo to design together, discuss ideas, and challenge each other. And, of course, to catch up and share a laugh. You have the freedom to shape your own approach, with colleagues around you to offer ideas and support.

Our offer

What's in it for you?

We have the ambition and the opportunity to shape the future. And we need people with the drive to turn that into meaningful impact. You get the chance to contribute to something truly unique, alongside more than 1,000 driven and like-minded colleagues.

From day one, you help us fulfill our purpose: Technology for Life. The way you grow, take initiative, and deliver impact helps bring that purpose to life. We shape what’s next. Together.

Required skills

As a UX Designer you enjoy tackling challenges where a simple user experience hides considerable complexity. You seek out healthcare professionals, ask thoughtful questions, and turn observations into insights that help a team move forward. You pay attention to both the details of a design and the connections between projects and areas of care.

You help colleagues understand your reasoning and welcome different perspectives. You are comfortable acknowledging what you do not yet know, questioning assumptions, and providing direction when decisions need to be made. Drawing on your experience, you act as a resource for colleagues and help others develop their UX approach.

You also bring the following

  • Experience: At least five years of relevant experience as a UX designer, working with complex software as part of a development team. Experience with enterprise software is a plus.
  • Niveau: The ability to work and think at a university level and independently guide a complex UX project, from research and design through to validation and evaluation.
  • Tools and methods: Experience with UX tools and research methods. Experience with journey-based approaches and service blueprints is a plus.
  • Healthcare: An interest in healthcare and the motivation to explore the varied workflows of healthcare professionals.
  • Languages: A good command of Dutch for client contact and English for internal communication. You live in the Netherlands, enabling you to visit healthcare professionals on site.

Good to know: you are available for 32-38 hours per week. Hybrid working is the norm at Nedap, and you and your team can coordinate your working hours to support a healthy work-life balance. You will work at our Nedap Campus in Groenlo at least 2 days per week.

Alongside your experience, we value your connection with our culture and values, and your motivation to contribute to our purpose: creating Technology for Life.
