De positie

Responsible for leading a global HR process improvement and compliance initiative (BEST), focused on developing, completing, and optimizing end-to-end HR processes while ensuring compliance, effective controls, and audit readiness. The role involves coordinating stakeholders, defining clear responsibilities, handovers and control requirements, and identifying opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation and standardization. In addition, the Project Manager oversees planning, progress and decision-making, assesses process execution and compliance gaps, explores the use of AI to accelerate process development, and ensures formal approval of process documentation while establishing a sustainable framework for ongoing process compliance.

What you will be responsible for

Lead the global HR process improvement initiative

• Manage scope, priorities, planning, milestones, dependencies, risks and decisions, including which processes need documentation, redesign, validation or compliance review.
• Coordinate Content Owners, subject matter experts and contributors through a clear delivery rhythm and focused working sessions.
• Turn discussions into actions, owners and deadlines, follow through on delivery and report progress, escalating obstacles and decisions when needed.

Create and document clear end-to-end HR processes

• Assess available information and work with content owners and executors to create or complete end-to-end process flows, not just review existing documentation.
• Use AI where practical to structure information, identify gaps and draw on relevant best practices, with all outputs validated and approved by Content Owners.
• Document activities, decisions, systems, handovers, controls, evidence and exception routes, clarifying responsibility and accountability across Service Agents, HR Partners, specialist teams, managers and Content Owners.
• Identify differences between global design, local requirements and actual execution, addressing unclear ownership, duplication, missing steps and opportunities to simplify or standardize.
• Coordinate the review, validation and formal approval of the completed process documentation with the relevant Content Owners.

• HR Expertise: Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, including key activities, responsibilities, and handovers.
• Project Management & Process Improvement: Proven experience in leading complex projects and driving process improvement initiatives, including process design, optimization, standardization,
• and stakeholder management.
• HR Compliance: Solid knowledge of HR compliance requirements, internal controls, risk management, and audit readiness, with experience ensuring processes are compliant and properly documented.
• Global Experience: Demonstrated experience working in an international HR environment, managing global stakeholders and balancing global process standards with local requirements.

You will be contracted by YER, while working at Vanderlande. You can count on:

• Contract for 32-40 hours a week
• Salary range starting at €5,300
• 25 vacation days, with the option to buy more
