Do you want to use your expertise in industrial automation to make a real impact in sectors like water, food, chemicals and manufacturing?As a Software Engineer at Alewijnse, you’ll develop smart solutions for complex control systems – from the office through to commissioning on-site.

What will you be doing?

Together with your fellow software engineers, you’ll work on the development and implementation of control software for a wide range of electrical installations in industrial automation. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, translating functional requirements into technical solutions within PLC and SCADA environments.

Your responsibilities include

•

Translating customer requirements into concrete control solutions

•

Developing and testing PLC and SCADA software (including Siemens/Schneider platforms)

•

Performing functional testing at the office and on-site

•

Commissioning software on location, working with the client and your team

•

Actively contributing to the development of our internal standards and tools

•

Keeping your knowledge up-to-date and sharing expertise within the team

Who are you?

You bring

•

A completed HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or similar

•

Experience with PLC/SCADA programming (Siemens, Schneider or similar)

•

Willingness to travel occasionally for testing and commissioning

•

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
