Description & Requirements

The Accounting Supervisor will lead, develop and support a high-performing accounting team responsible for delivering end-to-end finance services across the Firm. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring accurate and timely service delivery while driving continuous improvement, standardization, automation and the adoption of AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Accounting Analysts and Senior Accounting Analysts, fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous learning and high performance.
• Provide hands-on coaching, training and technical guidance, building the team's accounting knowledge, confidence and future leadership capabilities.
• Work with the Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with agreed service levels and controls.
• Act as the team's first point of escalation for complex accounting, operational and stakeholder matters, providing practical solutions and clear direction.
• Drive process simplification, standardization and automation, while strengthening controls and maintaining clear procedures and knowledge materials.
• Champion the use of AI, Microsoft Copilot and other technologies to improve efficiency, quality and employee effectiveness.
• Partner closely with stakeholders and other Accounting Centers to deliver an effective One Team service and share best practices globally.
• Participate in audits, transitions, transformation initiatives and new service opportunities.
• Encourage the team to challenge existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute ideas that deliver measurable business value.

Requirements, Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Strong professional experience in Accounting or a relevant Finance field; experience within a professional services firm and/or shared service center is preferred.
• Previous experience providing leadership, guidance or oversight to accounting professionals.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS and general accounting principles.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, resolve complex issues and effectively engage with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is required.
• Portuguese proficiency is desirable.
• Knowledge of AI and its practical application within business processes is required.
