Your opportunity
As a (Senior) Integration Engineer Interior (interim), you will be responsible for the technical engineering and integration of joinery systems within the accommodation and technical spaces of complex naval vessels. Your main focus will be on translating customer and design requirements into functional and detailed technical specifications, ensuring that joinery works can be successfully subcontracted, engineered, and integrated into the overall ship design.
You will work closely with suppliers, procurement, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure that materials, technical solutions, and installation requirements meet project specifications and quality standards. From preparing subcontracting documentation to supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and resolving technical issues during production, you will contribute to the successful delivery of the vessel's interior systems.
This position combines technical specification engineering, supplier coordination, and system integration, rather than focusing primarily on the aesthetic design of interiors.

- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to support the selection of suitable suppliers, materials, and insulation solutions
- Coordinate the technical integration of joinery works with other engineering disciplines and ship systems, identifying and resolving potential design conflicts
- Support quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), verifying that subcontracted joinery works meet applicable specifications and standards
- Provide technical support to production teams, addressing engineering and installation challenges throughout the project
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including technical specifications, design changes, and project progress
- Contribute to continuous improvement, applying relevant industry developments and best practices in joinery engineering
