We are seeking experienced 275kV Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs) to support a project in Poland.

Job description

The successful candidates will provide technical leadership and operational oversight for HV electrical activities, ensuring compliance with electrical safety rules, industry standards, and project requirements.

Key responsibilities include

• Acting as Senior Authorised Person for HV operations
• Managing MV/HV/LV commissioning activities
• Reviewing RAMS and method statements
• Coordinating electrical safety activities and safe systems of work
• Preparing and reviewing switching schedules
• Managing outage planning and network operations
• Supporting grid connection and substation commissioning activities
• Conducting site inspections and electrical safety audits
• Updating electrical schematics and switching documentation
• Mentoring and supporting Authorised Persons
• Supporting implementation and continual improvement of electrical safety procedures

Essential

• Several years of HV operations and commissioning experience
• Strong background in transmission and substation systems
• Minimum 3 years' experience working on onshore substation systems
• Relevant electrical qualifications aligned with SAP authorisation scope
• Experience managing electrical safety systems and HV switching operations
• Knowledge of national electrical standards and regulations

Certification Requirements

• Current GWO certification suite
• HUET certification
• CA-EBS (where required)
• Valid offshore medical certification

Desirable

• Offshore wind experience
• Experience with:• Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs)
• Offshore substations
• Export and inter-array cables
• Grid connection commissioning
• Electrical safety rule implementation
• Network control and outage management
