Are you an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer who enjoys taking technical ownership of complex machine development projects? Do you have a passion for precision engineering, multidisciplinary collaboration, and coaching engineering teams?

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you’ll lead the mechanical development of advanced high-tech equipment used in industries such as semiconductors, robotics, medical technology, and precision machine building. Working closely with System Architects, Electronics Engineers, Software Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Project Managers, you’ll play a key role in bringing innovative machines from concept to production.

About

the role

As the technical lead, you are responsible for the complete mechanical engineering scope of complex machine development projects. You define the technical strategy, guide your team, and ensure every design meets the highest standards for quality, manufacturability, and reliability.

• Lead complex machine development projects.
• Define mechanical architecture and design strategy.
• Coach and support Mechanical Engineers.
• Review CAD models and engineering calculations.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive DFM/DFA and cost optimisation.
• Coordinate prototypes and validation testing.
• Manage technical risks and engineering decisions.
• Ensure compliance with customer and quality standards.

What are we

looking for

We are looking for a senior mechanical engineer who combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills. You enjoy coaching engineers, making technical decisions, and working on cutting-edge high-tech equipment.

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 7+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary projects.
• Advanced 3D CAD experience.
• Strong knowledge of precision mechanics and GD&T.
• Experience with DFM/DFA principles.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
