• A completed bachelor’s degree (for example, Higher Safety Management);
• A technical background is considered an advantage;
• Several years of experience in a similar QSHE-, KAM-, Quality- or Continuous Improvement role;
• Relevant experience within a production environment and an affinity with technology are essential;
• The ability to translate theory into practice and engage colleagues in improvement initiatives;
• A hands-on mentality and a strong drive for continuous improvement;
• An analytical, proactive mindset and a results-oriented approach.

About your role as a QSHE-Officer

As A QSHE-Officer, you are responsible for further developing, implementing and safeguarding quality, safety, health, environmental and continuous improvement practices within our organization. You play an important role in solving operational quality issues, coordinating audits and creating a safe and efficient working environment.

You will be part of the Continuous Improvement Team and serve as an important sparring partner for both the shop floor and management. With your knowledge and experience, you know how to successfully turn improvement initiatives into tangible results.

Your responsibilities as a QSHE-Officer

• You contribute to the development of the QSHE policy and ensure that quality, safety, health and environmental standards are effectively embedded in daily operations, from ISO 9001 requirements to clear work instructions;
• You coordinate audits conducted by customers, certification bodies and suppliers, and ensure that findings are genuinely followed up;
• You handle non-conformities and customer complaints, identify root causes in close cooperation with colleagues and implement sustainable solutions;
• You make safety visible on the shop floor, from risk assessments and evaluation to promoting a healthy and ergonomic workplace;
• You identify improvement opportunities and initiate Lean and Continuous Improvement projects that contribute to Madern’s objectives;
• You coach improvement teams, colleagues and suppliers and actively promote a culture of continuous improvement;
• You are the primary point of contact for QSHE-related questions and keep management and leadership informed of progress.
