About the assignment

Our client, the leasing and commercial finance business of one of the largest banks in the Netherlands, is looking for a DevOps Coach & Change Enabler for its IT Commercial Finance organisation of five DevOps teams. The teams work with both partner software and in-house applications.

This is not a team-level Scrum Master role. You work alongside the IT Lead and the Grid Owner to set direction, start and implement organisational change, and make IT delivery faster, more predictable and of higher quality.

What you will do

• Drive Agile and DevOps ways of working at scale across five teams.
• Improve delivery flow and strengthen DevOps capabilities with insights, coaching and targeted interventions.
• Create alignment between teams, Product Owners, IT Lead and the wider organisation: clear priorities, ownership and dependencies.
• Work with senior management on transformation initiatives and constructively challenge existing patterns.
• Reduce integration risk and speed up the resolution of cross-team issues.
• Build an engineering culture of collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• 5+ years in a similar Agile coach / change role and 5+ years of change and stakeholder management.
• Proven track record of initiating and implementing organisational change, not only coaching teams.
• HBO or university degree; PSM I certificate.
• Hands-on DevOps knowledge and experience with a scaling framework (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus or Spotify).
• Lean / Lean Six Sigma knowledge and experience.
• Analytical and conceptual strength, organisational sensitivity and a 'make it happen' mindset.
• Fluent English.
• Financial services experience is a plus.
